Just the fact that I have to 'worry' about frigates offputs me from Tengu in missions, I prefer to semi afk with my Raven tbh. It might be cool for a change of pace though, ymmv.

Scanning high sec is a complete waste of time. It can be profitable if you're extremely lucky once in a blue moon but usually you'll find nothing. Explorers shouldn't be afraid to scan low sec at the least. tl;dr: Leave hi sec

Why would you fly an Ishtar in Angel Space? And an armor tanked one to boot? You're basically not making use of your T2 resistance bonuses that way. I can't see it as anything other than counter productive. With that being said... it can be done, ...

I'll have to go with Drake as well. Another option is Myrmidon with Sentries. Can only use 3 but they got good damage and awesome range, but since you have missiles trained already you probably already know the right answer for you.

What I do is reprocess anything that is of Meta 3 or lower (with some exceptions like certain turrets, missile launchers, etc). Being a part time industrial/miner character, I do have my Refining skills quite high, though. But, to me, bottom line...
